Davo's Full Review
Wild Tokyo brings something different to the table with its Japanese-inspired theme and it's a nice change from the usual gold-and-diamonds casino aesthetic. Cherry blossoms, neon lights, Tokyo skyline — it actually looks pretty cool and sets a different mood.
The welcome bonus caps at $300 which is the lowest on my list. However, you do get 150 free spins which helps offset that lower bonus ceiling. If you're depositing $300 or less anyway, the 100% match is still solid value. Wagering is 40x.
The provider lineup is interesting — BGaming, Platipus, Mascot Gaming, 3 Oaks Gaming. These aren't the biggest names but they produce some quality titles that you won't find everywhere. BGaming's Elvis Frog in Vegas is a personal favourite and Platipus makes some surprisingly fun pokies.
CashtoCode is a banking option you don't see often and it's handy for Aussies who prefer using cash. Walk into a participating retailer, hand over cash, get a code, deposit online. Simple as. It's like Flexepin but with a different network of retailers.
The site design is genuinely well done. The Japanese theme runs throughout without being tacky. Game categories are clearly labelled and the search function works properly. I found myself spending more time browsing just because the site looks good.
Mobile experience is fine. Responsive design adapts to different screens. Nothing exceptional but no complaints either. Games load at a reasonable pace.
The game library at 2,500+ titles is on the smaller side. If variety is your top priority, you'd be better served by Zoccer or Skycrown. But if you're happy with a curated selection of quality over sheer quantity, Wild Tokyo delivers.
The payout percentage at 95.9% is below the average on my list. It's not drastically low but worth noting if you're comparing numbers.
Live chat support has been responsive in my experience. Nothing remarkable but they answer questions and resolve issues without too much back and forth.
Wild Tokyo is a solid casino with a unique theme and some interesting game choices. It won't top any lists for bonus size or game quantity but it offers a different experience and sometimes that's exactly what you want. Good for punters who are bored of the same old same old.
